Two thousand and eight is Mike Coziahr’s fifth year with the Pelicans and 30th year in the sports industry. Coziahr has two roles: sales in the off-season and stadium operations during season. In his career, Coziahr has had many duties and responsibilities from athletic training with Hayden High School (CO) and the Denver Broncos, equipment manager and head athletic trainer at Ontario Christian High School, security supervisor for the Atlanta Braves, and clubhouse manager, stadium ops and now corporate sales executive with the Pelicans. Prior to his beginning in sports, Mike spent 15 years in the California Department of Corrections as a correctional officer, Sargent, lieutenant, academy instructor, criminal gang and internal affairs investigator, and a parole agent.

Mike married Julie O'Shaughnessy in October in Maine. In his spare time, Mike enjoys playing golf and NASCAR 2007 on his PlayStation 2. He also produces a selection of homemade wine labeled the Taj Mahal Vineyards. Mike is the proud owner of three cats: Stan, Steve, Ivan.
