Gary Colon enters his second baseball season with the Pelicans, first as the Assistant General Manager. In 2007, Colon was the Lead Sales Executive and managed Emerald Diamond, the Pelicans food and beverage department. Colon brings more than 25 years of sales experience to the team including 17 with Coca-Cola. His most recent position was the Director of Sales and Marketing for the Cold Drink and On-Premise Channel Consumption for the Rocky Mountain Division. Colon is close friend of Pelicans manager Mac Seibert, attending the same church, Gonzalez Baptist Church. The Pensacola High graduate currently serves as a Deacon at Gonzalez Baptist and has also been the youth minister, a Sunday school teacher, Chairman of Stewardship/Finance, and Chairman of Deacons. Gary has been married to his beautiful wife Renee for 20 years and have been blessed with three children, Catie (17), Camille (14), and Caleb (6). When he is not selling, Gary enjoys spending time with his family, being active in his church, coaching his son in baseball and playing golf.
